External Assessments
The CRIA-mandated external assessments are directly related to long-term student outcome goals within our strategic plan.
The Virginia State Standards of Learning (VSoL) and Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) have been adapted to the local school community needs within Guanacaste.
We remain committed to using the most effective external assessments to help each individual student grow and ultimately be well-prepared for university success.

MAP testing is done twice yearly online and provides immediate feedback on academic skills and knowledge.
