Accreditations, Association, and Partnerships
Ensuring Quality, Community, and Global Opportunity
🌎International & Costa Rican Accreditation
Costa Rica International Academy (CRIA) is proud to be fully accredited by both:
- The Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (MSA) — United States
- The Ministerio de Educación Pública (MEP) — Costa Rica
CRIA benefits from dual U.S. and Costa Rican accreditation. This dual recognition ensures that every CRIA student graduates with a diploma recognized by both Costa Rican and international universities — opening doors to higher education opportunities.
🎓University Dual Enrollment Partnerships
Through CRIA’s partnership with Arizona State University (ASU) and Grand Canyon University (GCU), high school students can earn university credit while completing their CRIA diploma.
This program provides motivated juniors and seniors the opportunity to:
- Take college-level courses through U.S. universities
- Earn transferable university credits before graduation
- Strengthen university applications and scholarship opportunities
- Experience authentic college-level academic rigor while in high school
Our Dual Enrollment program aligns with CRIA’s mission to prepare students for success in both Costa Rican and international universities, offering an exceptional bridge between high school and higher education.
🌟College Board Partnership
For over two decades, CRIA has been an authorized College Board school and official testing center for the AP, PSAT, and SAT programs.
Our commitment to college readiness ensures that students are well prepared for university admissions and standardized assessments.
- Advanced Placement (AP) courses in multiple disciplines
- PSAT and SAT testing hosted on campus
- Curriculum aligned with U.S. college-preparatory standards
